Cocktail time is made even better and groovier, with a charming soundtrack provided by British group Margo Lee and the Players Edition. Filling smoky lounges with Jazzy elements of Brazilian tones, then soaring notes send you first class to the Jet-Set on PanAm or BOAC. Lead by the dulcet tones of Northern lass, Margo Lee, with composition, arrangements and instruments by Jay Jay and Ade.
More than a simple nod to nostalgia, the band is an authentic progeny of a golden era of musical tastes and ambition.
Margo Lee
Music has always been part of ML's life, serenading friends and family from a young age. Eventually she gained attention from the renowned Italia Conte school of performing arts in London, winning a prestigious scholarship.
This followed a European tour with the all girl band The Tommys. Not to mention recording songs for the label TOCO International with chart success in Asia.
A true globe-trotter (like the rest of the Soft Tempo team) she has also called Dubai, Montenegro and Ibiza home, all the while continuing to perform throughout Europe.
Jay Jay Estridge
The actual 'son of a preacher man', Jay Jay grew up within that great tradition of grand, uplifting gospel music. It was inevitable that his ambitions would lead him to become director of a choir and to the production of an Abbey Road Studio gospel album. A lifelong soul fan, Jay has performed with singer Jaki Graham and toured with Ruby Turner.
When not recording or live on-stage he can be found in the producer’s chair on many projects.
Ade McLeod
A true performer’s performer Ade has graced many top stages around the UK and throughout Europe. Much sought after by the great and the good, such as singer Kenny Thomas, he has toured the UK with Level 42, including performances at the Royal Albert Hall.
As a recording artist he appears on Warner Brothers, AATW and 3 BEAT productions, with numerous collaborations on UK and Euro dance labels.
